Hi Cole, Thanks for your comment. That is actually a photo of a real bird in flight. The wing looks a little big due to the angle of the shot. I wish I could draw well enough to make it look that natural! :)

Isn't the right wing too big for the design? Just noticed it actually. But the overall image is great! It looked so natural, not just a 3D design.

Hi Nicole,

Thanks for the comment. Being that you like Amazon, is it safe to assume that you look for programs with variety? If so, you might be interested in Commission Junction. Not only does CJ have variety, but that's where the majority of web hosts run their affiliate programs. Some hosts pay near $200 dollars per referral; almost all pay over $100.

If you're interested: http://www.cj.com/

Hi Dave,

Thanks for input. Well, there are still some quality directories where its difficult to get an article approved. Selfgrowth is one of them. Benefits of such article directories is that, due to its strict approval standards, most can't get in and so you ultimately get a stronger links. Better the editorial quality, better love a site get from search engines too so ultimately its a win-win for all.

Hey Joel,

Yes I do this and it definitely works. I haven't done any actual calculations, but off the top of my head, I get about 7-8 return followers for every 10 that I follow. Most people follow back, if the original follower's (your) profile is not pure marketing.

If you haven't already, set up a Twitter account based on HGH, write some helpful information in the "About Me" section and follow people that would most likely be interested in that topic. Try to refrain from following other affiliate marketers - they'll make you look bad.

Hi Joel,

Thanks for the comment and excellent point!

Articles are good for long-term, IF you can get people to publish them (and keep your resource box) on their site. Unfortunately, as you mentioned, they get buried fast. So they have to be promoted just like any other 'advertisement'.

Press Releases, on the other hand, are excellent for a quick blast of free search traffic. A PR published today can be on Google's first page in less than 24 hours and disappear just as fast. As long as they are written around a topic that gets a lot of searches, they will drive fast traffic, though it will be short-term.

Dave, Interesting idea. Question is, what will be ratio of returning followers? I mean, how many of them will follow back? Have you tried it?
